In a special debate at the Simon Bolivar Plaza of Caracas, its President Victor Chirinos noted the guerrilla’s example for every freedom fighter.
"We can say a lot about Che every day, but his political ideals are true pillars for combat," said Chirinos.
The legislator reminds that today’s process of Latin American and Caribbean integration also make up Che ideals and called the achievements of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas and its uniting the people “Che’s dreams come true“.
The Venezuelan group of PARLATINO opened a Che Guevara Department during the plenary session to encourage the study of this figure and Latin American history.
