Alarcon Denounces Unexplained Punishment of Gerardo

Cuban Parliament President Ricardo Alarcon denounced on Wednesday the confinement in a punishment cell (the hole) that Gerardo Hernandez, one of the five Cuban antiterrorists unfairly imprisoned in the United States, has once more been subjected to.

On May 3rd, 1514 the town of San Juan de los Remedios in the province of Villa Clara was founded. After over a century, another villa, this time called Gloriosa Santa Clara was founded on July 15th, 1689, current capital of the province of Villa Clara. During centuries the province suffered great transformations.
