Greater rigor in the compliance with the hygienic-sanitary measures

Villa Clara is currently in the Phase III of the confrontation, prevention and control of the COVID-19, but this does not stop the teaching-educational process, with a greater rigor in the compliance of all the required hygienic measures.

The classes will not be suspended due to the new epidemiological situation in Villa Clara.

The educational sector in Villa Clara during these days has witnessed important changes, and the first of them is related to the current epidemiological situation in the province, which maintains the autochthonous transmission phase in Sagua la Grande, the Phase I in the municipalities of Santa Clara and Cifuentes, the Phase III in the territories of Ranchuelo, Caibarien and Camajuani, and a new normal in the rest of the municipalities.

When faced with this complex scenario, it must first be said that until now, the suspension of the educational teaching process is not foreseen, but a greater discipline is imposed in the face of the need for compliance with the planned hygiene measures, explained Yamile Herrera Alfonso, provincial deputy director of Education in Villa Clara.
