The 2020 judicial year began this Tuesday in Villa Clara, with a ceremony held in the historic First Criminal Chamber of the Provincial People´s Court, where those who deliver justice in this province of the central Cuba, presented their challenges, with the purpose at being more and more effective in their work.

Being increasingly fair, more transparent, more attached to the Constitution and the Cuban laws and more efficient when delivering justice, will be our main objectives and our humble contribution to the free, independent, sovereign, socialist, prosperous and sustainable nation that we build.

This was stated by Elena Margarita Cabrera Figueroa, President of the Provincial People´s Court of Villa Clara, who stressed that today the expectations and demands of the Cuban society are greater, in relation to the qualitative performance of the judicial bodies and the only consistent way to respond to that is by growing the demands when doing things well and getting better in everything that has to do with the function of imparting justice.

Osnay Miguel Colina, member of the Provincial Bureau of the Party, Milaxys Yanet Sanchez Armas, Vice-Governor of Villa Clara, the authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MININT), the representatives of the Prosecutor's Office, and other members of the judicial system participated at the meeting.
