Registered as part of the program of tributes for the 167th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban Apostle, the appointment also welcomed the recognition from the Provincial Bureau of the Party to the Governor and the Vice-Governor, newly elected on Saturday 18th to lead the Government of Villa Clara, starting next February.

To Jose Marti, the father of the independence and the humanist ethics of the Cuban Revolution, evoked the main political and governmental authorities of Villa Clara, accompanied by the pioneers of both the elementary and secondary education, the direction of the Jose Marti Cultural Society, and the Marti Youth Movement, at a morning ceremony held this Monday at the headquarters of the Provincial Committee of the Party.

Registered as part of the program of tributes for the 167th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban Apostle, the appointment also welcomed the recognition from the Provincial Bureau of the Party to the Governor and the Vice-Governor, newly elected on Saturday 18th to lead the Government of Villa Clara, starting next February.

For the responsibility of the Cuban school with the continuity of the Marti´s faithful values, the Primary Seminar and the Basic Secondary School that bear the name of Jose Marti, in Santa Clara, received an artistic replica of the figure of the Apostle; also, in the name of the Provincial Bureau of the Party.

In the closing remarks, the president of the Marti Youth Movement in the province, Jorge Antonio Rodriguez Guillen, referred to the communion of thoughts between Marti, Fidel and Che, while stressed that there is no better tribute to the Master than the vocation of service to the homeland of all the Cubans.
