Announced layoffs in the Villa Clara Baseball Team

The Provincial Baseball Commission in Villa Clara and the Directorate of Sports in the territory, Announced several layoffs in the Villa Clara Baseball Team, this Thursday, with regard to the official payroll of the provincial team to participate at the 60th National Baseball Series.

According to the official report, the players Andy Sarduy, from Santa Clara, and Yandry Canto, from Santo Domingo, as well as the pitchers, Robelio Carrillo and Ronny Valdes, both from Remedios, renounced to be part of the team on personal grounds.

The other players excluded from the team were the second baseman from Santa Fe, Duviel Zamora, after abandoning the training, and Daniel Lopez, from Placetas, after leaving the country.

The Provincial Baseball Commission added that the official team of Villa Clara participating at the next national series will begin to train at the Augusto Cesar Sandino Stadium on January 6th, 2020.
