A modern terminal of liquefied gas, built in the province of Cienfuegos, is now ready to benefit the customers of the central territories of Cuba, a facility that has a storage capacity of 2,400 cubic meters of fuel.

Ricardo Alonso, director of the CUPET Marketer in Cienfuegos, told that the implementation of the investment project included the recent filling of the 12 bullets the facility currently has.

He indicated that they also tested the different operational systems of the plant, such as the electric network, the automation structure, the pumping system, and the firefighting system, among others.

Nestled in the Obourke industrial zone, in the provincial capital of Cienfuegos, the terminal has a storage capacity of 2,400 cubic meters of combustible gas, and therefore, it increases the storage infrastructure in the central region of the country.

At the cost of about 22 million pesos in total, the plant is part of the national gasification program developed by the Cuban State throughout the Island.
