Cuban and Russian Parties Sign Cooperation Agreement

The Communist Parties of Cuba and United Russia (UR) signed a collaboration agreement on training affiliates and working with the youth sector, last Friday.

The Cuban ambassador to Russia, Emilio Lozada Garcia, and the Deputy Secretary for International Relations of the UR General Council, Sergei Zhelezniak, signed the collaboration agreement between the two political organizations.

With the signing of the document, the two parties also agreed to collaborate in working with women organizations, educational and humanitarian organizations, and in international relations, as well as in other areas of mutual interest.

Presided over by President Dmitri Medvedev, the United Russia Party has an absolute majority of the deputies within the lower house of the national parliament.
