Elected Raul Castro as delegate to the National Conference of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution

The 200 delegates to the Conference of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution held in Santiago de Cuba last Sunday welcomed the proposal with strong acclamations.

Army General Raul Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, was elected as delegated in Santiago de Cuba to the V National Conference of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC), scheduled to be held in April of 2020.

The 200 delegates to the Conference of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution held in Santiago de Cuba last Sunday welcomed the proposal to elect the assailant to the Moncada Barracks, the expeditionary of the Granma yacht, the continuator of the fight at Sierra Maestra after the reunion in Cinco Palmas, the founder of the Frank Pais II Eastern Front and the pillar in the construction of the socialism in Cuba with strong acclamations.

Together with Raul, the delegation from Santiago de Cuba was elected, featuring the Army Corps General Alvaro Lopez Miera, and the Division General Antonio Enrique Lusson Guerra, as well as the 23 other delegates from the different instances in the province.

In the presence of the president of the national leadership of the ACRC, General of Division Jose Antonio Carrillo Gomez, the participants presented their experiences in key tasks such as the food production, the defense of the Homeland, the political-ideological work, and the strengthening of the discipline and the unity among all Cubans.
