The CMHW is increasingly committed to the universal literature in its dramatized shows

“A heart of green stone”, an original text by the Spanish Salvador de Madariaga, versioned for the radio by Joaquin Cuartas, is the proposal that, starting next Monday, always at 3:00 pm, will be offered by the radio program “Your unforgettable novel” of the CMHW.

This is a classic among the historical novels about the conquest of the so-called New World, which returns to the programming of the Radial Queen of the Center, 15 years after its premiere at the station.

The story takes place between Spain and the Valley of Mexico, a territory that was part of the Aztec empire in the fifteenth century, and, with the Spanish colonization in the background, it approaches the traditional themes in melodrama, such as love, the fight for power, the ambition, social and family issues, and the religious fanaticism, among others.

One of the important issues in this novel is that it demonstrates the value of the native cultures and the universal sense of love, said Jorge Luis Cruz, director of the show.

“Your unforgettable novel” represents a meeting place with the universal literature in the afternoon of the CMHW Radio Station.
