"I have no balance" closes the Mejunje Theater Festival in Santa Clara

“I have no balance”, one of the most applauded plays by the Wind Theater Group of Camaguey, closes this Wednesday night the XXVIII edition of the Mejunje Theater Festival in Santa Clara.

Josvani Gonzalez Suarez, actor of that cast, told exclusively to the CMHW that in the setting the characters express their desires, frustrations and demand a hopeful message.

Based on the Cuban daily life, this has been one of the highest grossing plays after Oil plus vinegar equal to family, said Gonzalez Suarez.

According to the profile of the group on Facebook, for 20 years they have come every January to El Mejunje, «The Cathedral of the Art and Hope in Cuba», to offer their plays.

The Wind Theater Group of Camaguey, under the direction of Freddys Nunez Estenoz, arrived last June to its two decades of life, with presentations that transcend the borders of the archipelago.

Austria and Germany (country in which they were nominated for a critics award), are some of the nations as far as its art has traveled, always, with plays of a high aesthetic character.
