Carnal: image and music of Buena Fe in Santa Clara

The photographic exhibition “Carnal” by the photographer Gabriel Davalos was inaugurated this Friday at the Provincial Center of the Visual Arts of Villa Clara, a work that served as art to the homonymous disc of the Cuban music group “Buena Fe”, which celebrates its 20 years of creation.

The exhibition shows eight compositions featuring the dancers from the dance companies “Danza del Alma” and “Baila Cuba”, as its protagonists and who, according to Israel Rojas, director of Buena Fe, tried to channel the essence of the phonogram with exquisite aesthetic details.

Rojas thanked, in addition, the joint work with Davalos who paid tribute to a much more complete album and took the opportunity to invite the audience to attend the launching concert of the CD in Santa Clara that will take place tomorrow, Saturday 21st at El Sandino recreational complex.

Davalos announced that this Saturday, at the Leoncio Vidal Park, the book “Santa Clara: Vivir y Bailar” will be launched, as a result of the work with the aforementioned dance companies, and that it would result in an exhibition of the same name.

The photographic exhibition “Carnal” will remain open to the public until January 5th, 2020, as was confirmed by Omar Rubio Lopez, director of the Provincial Center of Visual Arts.
