A large exhibition of Cuban contemporary art entitled ‘Mas alla del marco’ (Beyond the Frame), which includes pieces by two of the five Cuban antiterrorists unjustly held in the U.S. since 1998, will be hosted by London’s Gallery 27 as of Monday, April 23, until Saturday, April 28.

Meetings with senators and other officials at the U.S. Congress in Washington marked the first day of activities of the International Solidarity Meeting for the Cuban Five.
The campaign "Five Days for the Cuban Five" to demand that the Barack Obama government release five Cuban antiterrorist fighters unjustly held in U.S. prisons immediately is taking place for fourth consecutive day in this capital on Friday.
From now until April 21, this capital will witness the claims of hundreds of activists who will demand that the White House release the Five Cuban antiterrorists unjustly held in U.S. prisons. The event was called by the International Committee for the Release of the Cuban Five, as those fighters are known internationally, and will have the assistance of friends from different cities in the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe, pointed out the organization on its website.
Representatives from 35 parties, unions, organizations and movements in Brazil are part of the Brasilia Committee for the Freedom of the Cuban Five, the five Cuban anti terrorists held in the U.S. since 1998. This committee, which persists in their fight to obtain freedom for Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino, René González, Antonio Guerrero y Fernando González, recently had a dialogue with some of the family members of the Five.
Adriana Perez O’Connor has spent 14 years without seeing her husband, Gerardo Hernandez, one of the Cuban Five imprisoned in the United States for conspiracy to commit espionage, and hope that the international pressure forces U.S. President Barack Obama to adopt a measure that enables them to meet again.
